“My music is positive, so is my message, it carries spiritual, love and issues to do with what is happening within our different communities, in our everyday life. It’s is full of teachings.Every song on the album reflects my character and my message. I want to change people’s mind-set towards the type of music that I do,” he explains.
Trumel’s compositions are inspired by renowned Jamaican reggae artists such as Bob Marley, Jah Cure, Gyptian, Jah Vinci and George Nooks. He came on the local music scene with hit singles such as “Let It Go”, “Put Him Higher” and “Party (Lalala)”, taken from his 2013 mixtape titled “Step Ahead” released under Nde’feyo Entertainment.
